Domestic & Commercial Pressurisation Units
Pressurisation units are used for the purpose of maintaining a consistent water pressure within a building’s plumbing system. By regulating the building’s water flow from its main supply, pressurisation units ensure a constant pressure is kept throughout the system. This reduces cases of low water pressure being reported. High water pressure on the other hand would also damage the water pipes.
Water lost through a system leakage is replaced and to maintain the pressure in the sealed heating and chilled water systems a pressurisation unit is used. Disruptions to day-to-day activities will reduce because of the consistent water pressure provided by these pressurisation units. A water pump cannot operate at its best if the water pressure is constantly fluctuating and these fluctuations in water pressure will result in cavitation.

Pressurisation units typically include a pump, a pressure vessel, and controls to monitor and adjust the water pressure as needed. The Lowara Presfix pressurisation units provide safety circuits which will lock out the boiler or chiller when there is high or low water pressure. These units are ideal for domestic and industrial applications.
Quality components ensure years of trouble-free operation. A fully adjustable pressure reducing valve is fitted to assist installation and a continuously rated Bronze pump ensures reliable performance.
Standard construction includes 1ph 240v or 415v bronze or stainless steel pumps, individual high & low-pressure switches, adjustable pressure reducing valve and break tank c/e ball valve and overflow.
