Booster Set - 9 Elms Project
The Nine Elms project is a tremendous vision for the South Bank alongside the River Thames in London.
Located at St George’s Wharf, the Nine Elms is a residential tower which offers 214 luxury apartments with one, two or three bedrooms spread across 51 floors. The 52nd floor will occupy a leisure complex including; a gym, a spa, a pool, a private residents cinema and a business suite. It stands at 594ft, ranking at the eight tallest building in London and the tallest residential building in the UK.
This luxury development plan offers new homes to 30,000 people in addition to providing 25,000 new jobs. On completion the Nine Elms will be recognised as an internationally known business district, providing a purpose-built centre for arts and culture, the plans incorporate distinctive architecture as well as providing a viewpoint for the River Thames.
The proposed development of the Nine Elms included rebuilding a whole new town centre around the Battersea Power Station, after previous upgrade work to the station and the creation of new infrastructure including two new tube stations and linear park sweeping.
TRICEL SOLUTION - Booster Set, Expansion Vessle, circulator pump
Tricel supplied the client with a booster set, expansion vessle and submersible pump to cover water pressure, circulation and improved water supply.
Specialist pumping companies manufactured the equipment; Xylem, Grundfos and Flamco. The client contacted us in 2016 regarding the extensive works being taken out on the Nine Elms project. Tricel consultants liaised with the project engineers supplying equipment throughout the project’s construction from 2016 – 2018.
Our team of experts, specified, installed, tested, maintained and serviced all equipment supplied throughout the three-year project. We provided consultancy on water pressure requirements throughout this large residential and commercial tower block.
Tricel carry out all maintenance and servicing works ensuring each piece of equipment set up is running & operating correctly. This tower block is one small part of the overall actions carried out within the Nine Elms project.
